Join Mah Jongg expert Dana Lange for an engaging three-day camp filled with hands-on gameplay, strategy, and plenty of memorable moments. Whether you’re brand new to the tiles or a seasoned player looking to refine your technique, you’ll enjoy Dana’s signature approach- “one part stand-up routine, one part expert teaching and all parts fun.”
Over the course of the three-day camp, enjoy more than nine hours of guided instruction, supervised game play along with ample time to relax and enjoy spring at the Tides Inn.

Beyond Beginners
Players Who Know the Game
Learn the ins and outs, tips and tricks and strategy on how to win with the new 2026 NMJL card. Day One focuses on the new card, including the decision tree specific to 2026. The following two days will be a group hands-on play of the card, discussing which tiles to pass in the Charleston and which hands to play. Get a leg up on the competition and learn all you need to win.
Beginners
New to the Game
Want to learn the game of American mah jongg and basic strategies? Why not learn from one of the premier teachers of the game and ignite a passion for a new hobby? You’ll leave this three-day camp ready to take on your friends back home.
