The Tides Inn Privacy Notice

This privacy policy explains how New Tides, LLC (“Tides Inn” or “we”) uses the information (“information” or “data”) we collect when you use our website at (the “Website”). 

1. What data do we collect?

When you visit the Website, the website host collects certain data about the computer accessing the Website and provides it to us, including the IP Address, session, views, engagement (including specific clicks and the time spent on specific pages), the channel and channel type you arrived from, keywords or other marketing behavior you typed to arrive at the Website, your computer’s operating system, browser and device, as wells as your location based on your IP address.

If you choose to contact us through the Website, the Tides Inn collects the following personal information: your name, email address, and phone number(s). If you purchase products or make a reservation though the Website, we and our central reservations partner also collect your mailing address and credit card information. 

2. How do we collect your data?

You directly provide the Tides Inn with most of the data we collect. We collect data and process data when you use our Website, contact us by telephone or email, make reservations, and voluntarily provide us information by responding to an email or postal mail survey. We also collect data from opt-ins you make from third-party websites to receive information from us. Please note that Facebook, DoubleClick and other advertising platforms collect data from you if you visit those websites or click on ads displayed there. We do not control the data they collect or what they do with it, and we refer you to their privacy policies for more information.

We also collect data indirectly from third-party mailing and emailing lists. 

3. How will we use your data?

The Tides Inn takes the utmost care to ensure that the personal information we obtain from you is used only in ways you are aware of and are agreeable to. 

The Tides Inn collects your data so that we can process your queries entered on the Website, manage your registration, and provide technical support.

The Tides Inn will share your data with Tanzerra Resorts and other properties in its portfolio including Mii amo, Enchantment Resort, The Cove Eleuthera, and Twin Farms, for them to market their services to you. The Tides Inn will also share your data with our trusted business partners.

When the Tides Inn processes your reservation and charges, it will send your data to, and also use the resulting information from, transaction partners and credit reference agencies to prevent fraudulent purchases.

Other than the sharing we describe in this Privacy Notice, the Tides Inn will not sell to or otherwise share your data with third-parties except that:

  1. The Tides Inn will, when we believe in good faith that disclosure is required, disclose information to protect the security, property, assets or rights of the Tides Inn or to protect the Website from unauthorized use or misuse.
  2. The Tides Inn will disclose information when required by law, however, only to the extent necessary.

4. How do we store your data?

The Tides Inn securely stores your data on servers located in the US.

The Tides Inn will keep your data for at least 10 years.

The right to access – You have the right to request copies of your personal data from the Tides Inn. We may charge you a small fee for this service.

The right to rectification – You have the right to request that the Tides Inn correct any information you believe is inaccurate. You also have the right to request the Tides Inn complete the information you believe is incomplete.

The right to erasure – You have the right to request that the Tides Inn erase your personal data, under certain conditions.

The right to restrict processing – You have the right to request that the Tides Inn restrict the processing of your personal data, under certain conditions.

The right to object to processing – You have the right to object to the Tides Inn’s processing of your personal data, under certain conditions.

The right to data portability – You have the right to request that the Tides Inn transfer the data that we have collected to another organization, or directly to you, under certain conditions.

We use cookies to speed navigation though our Website, keep track of information so that you do not have to re-enter it each time you visit our Website, and provide you with customized content. We also use cookies to measure and improve the Website through statistical analysis, track your behavior linking to our Website, using it, and leaving it. A mix of first-party and third-party cookies is used.

You must be at least 18 years old to make reservations or submit personal information on our Website. Should the Tides Inn inadvertently acquire personal information or any other data from users under the age of 18, the Tides Inn will not knowingly provide this data to any third party for any purpose except when required by law.

The Tides Inn Website contains links to our portfolio properties and third-party websites. Our privacy policy applies only to our Website, and the privacy policy of our portfolio properties and third-party websites may be different from ours.
