Take a leisurely walk along our Shoreline Trail, where golden hues from the trees reflect on the creek. For a more immersive experience, hop on a complimentary bicycle and explore the local town, a short ride away. Our new Woodland Trail also offers miles of scenic cycling routes that showcase more of the region’s fall foliage.
At Salt & Meadow, our culinary team embraces the season with a menu inspired by ingredients from the Tides Inn Farm and local purveyors. Enjoy a farm-to-table dining experience, where dishes are crafted with local ingredients to highlight the flavors of fall.
Irvington and the surrounding area come to life with festivals and events in the fall. Join us for the annual Taste by the Bay event at our resort on November 23, a popular celebration featuring local wineries, oyster tastings, local art, music and more. This event is sold out, however, guests stays at the Tides Inn will be provided with complimentary tickets. Explore the Irvington Farmers Market on the first Saturday of every month, where you can find local crafts, fresh produce and seasonal treats.
A local favorite, Urbanna Oyster Festival, returns on November 1 and 2. With seafood dishes and traditional maritime culture taking center stage, attendees enjoy parades, shucking contests and live music performances. As Urbanna is just across the Rappahannock River, we will also provide a water-taxi from the Tides Inn to the festival and back.
