Celebrate the magic of the season in the heart of Irvington, where coastal charm meets timeless holiday tradition at the Tides Inn. Below are a few ways to enjoy Thanksgiving week at the Tides.
Christmas Kickoff
Join us on Saturday, November 29, 2025, for The Christmas Kickoff, a festive afternoon celebrating Santa’s official arrival to the Northern Neck. From 12–4 PM, enjoy complimentary holiday fun on Fish Hawk Beach and in the View Room, including Santa and Mrs. Claus arriving by seaplane at 12:30 PM, one complimentary photo, cookies and cocoa, a Candy Cane Hunt, gift-wrapping contests, ornament making and Christmas Music Bingo. Bring your holiday spirit and kick off the season with us at the Tides.
Holiday Wreath Making Workshop
Get cozy in the Maker Space this holiday season and assemble your very own wreath. Our resident artist will help you build yours from plants our resident horticulturist foraged from around the Tides Inn resort. (Children must be accompanied by an adult) $75 per adult, $30 per child.
Holiday Ornament Workshop
Create a lasting holiday memory of your time at the Tides Inn. You will have the option of crafting an ornament from clay, painting a pre-made design, or transforming locally sourced materials such as oyster shells and crab claws into decor. (Children must be accompanied by an adult.) $75 per adult, $30 per child
